The 2023-2024 season is a promising one! Elisha has performances scheduled as a conductor, chorister, soprano soloist, and composer of two world premieres. See the details of each event below.

August 13, 2023 | 8:00am, 11:00am | Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church

Join us for the world premiere of Elisha’s newest piece for SATB choir and brass quartet. Commissioned in late summer, this piece will feature Perdido Brass and the GBUMC choir. In addition to conducting this new piece, Elisha will be singing Rob Gardner’s We Must Sing as a solo. This event is free and open to the public.

September 17, 2023 | 2:00pm | Chevy Chase United Methodist Church

After a break for the pandemic, the CCUMC Music Ministry is bringing back their monthly concert series. This inaugural concert will boast a diverse program from Byrd to Britten to popular music. Under the baton of Elisha Miller, this concert will not be one to be missed.  This event is free and open to the public.

November 5, 2023 | 3:00pm | The Music Center at Strathmore

The Washington Chorus will present their first concert of the season entitled Universal Longings. Co-presented with National Philharmonic and conducted by Artistic Director Eugene Rogers, Elisha will be performing as a chorus member. Click here to purchase tickets.

December 3, 2023 | 4:00pm | National City Christian Church

The National Children’s Chorus will be presenting our Winter Showcase. Conducting the Prelude Level (junior division) and Debut Ensemble (senior division), Elisha will lead some of the world’s finest young singers in performing classical literature to Christmas favorites. Ringing in the holiday season, the CCUMC Music Ministry will present their Christmas Cantata entitled A New and Glorious Morn. Using a blend of familiar lyrics and melodies coupled with compelling original material, this cantata celebrates the timeless story in a unique and memorable way. This event is free and open to the public.

December 10, 2023 | 5:00pm | Aldersgate United Methodist Church

Elisha will be featured as the soprano soloist in Haydn’s Missa brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo. This event is free and open to the public.

December 15, 2023 | 8:00pm | The Music Center at Strathmore

The Washington Chorus presents their annual “A Candlight Christmas!” concert series. Featuring spirited brass and a festive chorus that Elisha will sing in, this concert is among the DC region’s most beloved holiday traditions—so don’t miss this heartwarming seasonal delight! This intimate Candlelight Christmas Eve service will feature Sage String Quartet and a chamber choir conducted by Elisha. This event is free and open to the public.

February 11, 2024 | 2:00PM | Chevy Chase United Methodist Church

Michael Harper, the tenured associate principal trumpet player of the National Symphony Orchestra, and Matthew Barker of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, will join forces to present an eclectic program that features a world premiere of Elisha’s newest work for two trumpets. This event is free and open to the public.

March 24, 2024 | 10:00AM | Chevy Chase United Methodist Church

This Palm Sunday Passion concert will not be one to be missed! Join us for a dramatic retelling of the final week of Jesus’ life. This event is free and open to the public.

March 31, 2024 | 10:00AM | Chevy Chase United Methodist Church

Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with us! Elisha will be conducting the choir and brass ensemble, as well as singing a solo for this special celebration. This event is free and open to the public.

April 4 and 6, 2024 | 7PM and 8PM | The Kennedy Center

In collaboration with the National Symphony Orchestra, Elisha will sing as part of the chorus in Fauré’s Requiem. This is not your typical Requiem. Anguish, loss, and fear of death are gone—replaced with a tender vision of paradise that awaits. This masterpiece is one of the most iconic works of the sacred choral repertoire, comforting audiences far beyond the composer’s Parisian congregation. Click here to purchase tickets.

May 5, 2024 | 2:00PM | Chevy Chase United Methodist Church

In this solo recital, Elisha will sing on themes of hope, loss, and longing. Joined on the piano by Mark Irchai, this diverse program will include a variety of songs from operatic arias to musical theater ballads. This event is free and open to the public.

May 11, 2024 | 4:00PM | National City Christian Church

The National Children’s Chorus will present their Spring Showcase! Elisha will be conducting the Prelude Level (junior division) and Debut Ensemble (senior division) at this local concert before they take this program to Carnegie Hall next week. Click here to purchase tickets.

May 11, 2024 | 7:30PM | The Kennedy Center

Together again with National Philharmonic and led by Dr. Rogers, The Washington Chorus celebrates the sacred choral works of Lili Boulanger, Igor Stravinsky, and Ludwig van Beethoven in “L’Éternel.” Throughout Psalm 24Symphony of Psalms, and Mass in C Major, each composer explores faith and spirituality using their own unique voice, gifting us three individual representations of divinity. June 8, 2024 | 7:00PM | The Kennedy Center

The Washington Chorus brings its season to its stunning conclusion with “Elijah Reimagined.” This innovative production of Mendelssohn’s well-loved oratorio Elijah is like nothing seen before, promising a visual spectacle to bring the biblical prophet, as performed by GRAMMY Award-Winning Will Liverman, to life.
