The Composer Challenge Begins!

Happy November, my friends! The air is crisp and the inspiration is strong. What a perfect day for this challenge to begin.

I woke up with the concept in my head for my first piece of the month. It’s exciting to think about how this piece will evolve and take a new shape, different from what’s in my head. I can’t wait to share it with you all.

I have to remind myself there is only one rule: write every day. Nothing fancy beyond that. Already, my approach is different from pieces in the past and I’m excited to see where it will go from here. I think that word sums up how I feel right now: excited. This month is full of possibilities. It’s full of new notes and fresh music. Bring. It. On.
